Explain how you adapt your speech & writing for different people. Why are thesis statements and PEE structure important for academic audiences?

It is important to know how a relevant content you can generate recurring readers. What is important is that it is a memorable content, attractive and causing a large number of visitors, but also, that motivates and encourages readers to share it. The main idea to write for the audience is to know what catches the attention of the readers that penetrates in their minds, what moves the engine of the action to share it. When writing for different or academic audiences there is very important to use a thesis statement and the PPE (point, evidence, and explanation) structure. A statement of the thesis is the sum of a sentence or two of information, analysis or argument that is contained in an academic paper, informative article or in a newspaper. This thesis, in general, is the last part of a paragraph of introduction and provides a summary of the entire document in one or two sentences.  The PPE is used to form paragraphs for the thesis statement. The three components support the process of writing by making it clear. This components support each other like the “point” supports the thesis statement, the “evidence” is in charge of supporting the point, and the “explanation” is in charge of supporting the evidence. That’s why is very important when writing a paper or anything to use this process to help you to state what are you writing about.

  1. Armando, you did a good job of describing thesis statements and PEE structure, as well as their relationship to each other. These techniques can also help you revise more effectively. If you pay attention to how you use (or don't use) PEE structure, then you can improve the development and organization of your ideas. This, in turn, will help you communicate your thoughts to the reader in a more effective way. Keep up your hard work!
